I got this idea when I found out that Sonic can actually run on the Big blue track as long as he's wearing the bunny hood. Without the hood you can still manage to hold your own for a couple of seconds, as long as you don't get hit by one of the cars. I actually like F-Zero a lot, its one of my favorite racing games; but those F-Zero racers mostly top out at 4-500 mph, Sonic can run at mach 1 (at sea level thats 735 mph) so he could easily outrun the racers, in principle at least. I just loved the idea of Captain Falcon describing how dangerous it would be to fight with limited standing space at high speeds, only to find Sonic in his element XD.
