Let me take you back my friends, about...oh 5 years or so, when I first started college. I was in my dorm and it was the first time I ever had high speed internet. Seeking something to do to occupy my time, I discovered Webcomics. At the time it was the greatest thing I heard of, great comics done by people close to my age that I could read all I wanted for FREE! The very first webcomic I ever read was none other than RPG World, a comic that parodied Final Fantasy. I owe a LOT to this comic, it got me interested in comics on the internet, I actually became friends with Venus because we both liked it, and most important of all, my current drawing style developed because I tried to emulate Ian J's.
Sadly, the comic ended a little over 3 years ago. Ian became too busy with real life (He now works on the Venture Brothers staff!) and abandoned the project without bringing it to a conclusion T_T But recently he posted that he would allow a new writer/artist team to take up the comic and continue it in his stead! Venus, aka The complete archive of the comic is still up, check it out here: [link] |

"He told it about broad leaves drying in the sun. He told it about silver teapots. He told it about summer afternoons on the lawn."
