....it looks more like chaos 2 than 0..
at first, when I saw chaos I never thought he looked like the actuall chaos 0. The arms were to bulky, the color didn't sit right with me and the long spine things on his head were just shaped wrong, but then I started playing sonic adventure 2 battle with my sister and noticed that that chaos you made looks practicly identical to the one in SA2B! I personaly Always liked the sonic adventure 2 chaos better!
The instant I find a Werehog, I'm making this!
awesme! you should mak chaos 1.(pretty much caos 0 with a bionic endoskeleton in the right arm)
I like how the fur pattern creates a more wattery, drippy texture when painted.
you said that super sculpey is only in that one pinkish colour but (im not sure if its the uk or just my shop) my super sculpeys gray
i don't think it's very surprising that he used hot glue, but it is surprising how well he molded the hot glue
amazing keep up the awesome work i was wondering how you would pull of the hole see through brain but you pulled of much to my surprise !
very creative man! you've pulled a very cool chaos out of that, he was always a favourite boss of mine
I must say when we debated about this a while back I had my doubts, but it looks pretty good. I love how the werehog's fur looks like a current of waves, makes him look more like water.
very creative idea to use werehog's body!
Pretty awesome, although, I would keep the ripple effect but remove the bump on the middle of the body as it doesn't look right. But other than that! AWESOME! I wonder if I should commission it. I'm trying to decide who to commission. I want to commission 3 characters. They would be Mighty, Ray the Squirrel, Bark the Polar Bear, Eggman Nega, Metal Sonic 3.0, Chaos 0, Omega (although that one you said you'd never do again), Metal Knuckles, Marine, or Emerl, along with a Chao. So many choices, so little to choose.
I didn't say I'd NEVER make Omega again, it would just be a long time before I felt up to it. But whatever, you have a pretty long list up there.
I've managed to narrow my list down to 3. What figures will you need to make Mighty? Shade the Echidna and Metal Knuckles?
Even though I could tell a Werehog was used, still looks frikkin awesome! Great job on the figure!
Yeah I'll have to agree with others on this one. Not a fan of the fur texture and the stomach is really distracting. I think the arms are too thick also. I'm liking the shape of the head though and the hot glue was a clever way to allow the brain to still be seen
would have looked better if you had sanded down his body,so there wouldn't be that weird looking texture.it's still amazing though!.and i heard that premo sculpey clay is a lot stronger than super sculpey, and more durable, and it still stays pretty bendable, not only that but it comes in different colors!you should try it out,i'm getting it for christmas(hopefully)
the texture looks like water ripples, think about what it would look like if I used sandpaper on it. There would be flat edges, fuzziness, and frankly it would have looked like crap.
I gotta say Angel, I watched the video and I wasn't too impressed with Chaos' head, even when it was completed, but looking at it now I can't say I'm impressed, but it does look pretty good. I've done a few static chaos 0 sculptures before and I did the head on them a little different than you did yours, I made the "points" on the pack of his head as flat objects that hugged the back of where his neck would be if he had one. It's a shame that the Werehog isn't out any more so I'll be unable to make myself a pose-able Chaos 0 figure. You picked the perfect aquamarine blue for his body and making the cranial cavity for his brain was pure brilliance. I can't help but feel that he may have looked a little better had you gut the hands off and sculpted new ones. The way it looks now makes it look like he has huge bulging wrists, which mind you is similar to how Chaos 0actually looks, but to me it looks off. Does the textured Werehog "hair" show up as visibly in person as it does on film? I suppose as painted Chaos 0 it could be taken as a "flowing" effect of his liquid body. All and all I'd probably give this figure a 7/10 because you did a good job on a figure that doesn't exist yet, but also because you got the body shape almost spot on with resources that you had available to you. I can only imagine what your customs would look like if you had many professional kitbashing tools at your disposal. you could really fine tune your customs to be perfect.
I did leave the fur pattern as water ripples, since Chaos is always seen with bubbles and stuff inside him, I thought about filing the whole thing down but then it would look like chiseled stone instead. This was the first time I used hot glue as sculpting material and I think I can improve the technique with practice.
u should do something about the fur grooves
awesome!! i wish they actually made a chaos figure i would totally get it
anyways its just super cool very well done
anyways its just super cool very well done
Looks like Chaos has been working out XD
